Our client, a global music publishing company’s Copyright division, is seeking a forward-thinking Senior UK Copyright Administrator. The role offers one day WFH per week.

Key responsibilities will include:

· Working within the administration team across all Copyright processes for Deals signed in the UK.

· Supporting the UK Copyright Manager with the day to day running of the Copyright department and improving the team’s development, identifying gaps in knowledge.

· Working with the Copyright Manager on the creation of new training materials.

· Troubleshoot copyright enquiries for the UK Copyright team assisting the legal, finance, and creative teams as needed.

· Responding to clients’ enquiries in a timely, courteous, and considered manner.

· Investigating client queries and resolving as needed.

· Providing updates on the status of UK Deals.

· Monitoring catalogue registrations for new UK Deal signings.

· Ensuring registrations and income flows align with expectations, in liaison with affiliated counterparts.

· Communicating with PRS/MCOS, ICE, and IMRO.

· Collaborating with global administration teams.

· Working with UK Royalty and Tracking teams to deal with any issues with collection of income.

· Supporting the UK Copyright Manager on ad hoc projects regarding registrations, deal performance, and income reviews.

Requirements:

· Substantial Copyright Administrator experience within an international Music Publisher.

· Background in music rights management administration or collection societies is desirable.

· Confident communicator, able to clearly interface with clients, management, and colleagues.

· Robust comprehension and interpretation of Publishing Contracts.

· Thorough understanding of PRO/CMO collective rights administration policies and operational activities.

· Meticulous approach to handling recording data’s analysis, manipulations, and maintenance.

· Able to skilfully analyse, extract, and manipulate data from high volume datafiles.

· Proven track record using organisational skills and time management abilities to meet deadlines.

· Able to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

· Advance Microsoft Excel skills.

· Experience with BI visualisation tools, Power Query, and Project Management tools is desirable.
