Role: Senior Administrator

Location: Aldermaston, Reading (Hybrid working available after initial training and probation)

Salary £28k to £33k

We are recruiting for one of our successful partnership businesses based in Aldermaston near Reading.

Due to growth and expansion, they are looking for an experienced Senior Administrator to join their administration team.

This role will focus on providing effective administrative support to their Financial Planning advisers to ensure a high-quality service is delivered to their clients.

Duties and Responsibilities to include but not limited to

  • Provide technical and admin support to the financial advisers.
  • Maintain regular communication with financial advisers throughout and support in the advice journey
  • Product provider liaison
  • Obtain valuations, quotations, illustrations and supporting documentation in preparation for and following client meetings.
  • Produce suitability reports for personalising and sign off by the adviser
  • To administer the submission and processing of applications to platform/product providers and monitor relevant systems to ensure accuracy and/or acceptance.
  • To manage ad hoc client administration requests including elements such as withdrawals, fund switches, changes of address, requests for documentation etc.

This is a varied and interesting role, within the back-office function of the business, to work as part of the existing central Administration Team, offering a warm and friendly team atmosphere.

Knowledge and skills Required

  • A high level of experience in an administrative role based in a Financial Advice business or the Financial Services Industry
  • An understanding of the Financial Services market, the role of a Financial Adviser and the advice process
  • Excellent technical knowledge of financial services products
  • Experience in pensions and investments is essential
  • Strong background in client and product administration
  • Strong communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Experience across a range of platforms - desirable
  • Experience with cashflow modelling - desirable
  • High level of proficiency with Microsoft 365 - in particular Word, Excel and Outlook
