Revolution Recruitment Resources Ltd are recruiting on behalf of a major firm based in Liverpool who specialise in Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). They have an interest in the legal sector, though offer their services to a wide range of industries. They are seeking an experienced SEO Specialist to join their creative team.

The Job

As an SEO Specialist, you will be expected to complete all aspects of SEO, with support provided for technical and developmental work. Your day-to-day duties will involve managing an account of websites with the aim to grow the sites and the leads produced by them.

Your specific duties will involve:

• Conducting keyword research

• Planning SEO campaigns and content

• Analysing live pages and conducting optimisation tasks

• Site audits. Technical support is in place to complete fixes

• Identifying backlink opportunities

• Providing training on SEO to colleagues

• Supporting the Head of SEO in any tasks that arise

What we’re looking for in the successful applicant:

• Knowledge of SEO, researching and using keywords, backlinking and experience in using SEO tools is essential.

• Experience in using WordPress is essential.

• Conducting research also forms a big part of this role. The articles cover technical subjects so experience in research and scrutinising data sources is therefore essential.

• They pride themselves on our friendly, sociable and laid back atmosphere, so good interpersonal and communication skills are essential. They are a close-knit team that supports each other in every aspect of their jobs. They seek people who are willing to go above and beyond for their colleagues.

• A strong background in writing, or a passion for writing, is desirable.

• Attention to detail is a big part of this role. You will be expected to update sometimes complex and technical articles which require a sharp editorial eye.

• Organisation is also vital. You will be responsible for your workload and will be assigned targets and deadlines to meet.

The Benefits

The starting salary is between £25,000 and £30,000 depending on experience. You'll be entitled to 28 days holiday per year, including bank holidays. This increases with each year of service. They also offer flexitime and some working from home entitlements, though this role is office-based.
