The Team & Focus of the Role

At Fisher German our people and clients are at the heart of what we do. This is a unique opportunity to join a leading Commercial Property team in a role where the focus will be the financial management of a portfolio of clients and the properties held within the portfolios.

The successful candidate will allow our Concentrix service charge team to manage circa 620 service charges, we also have a regular stream of incoming properties.

Our main pinch point is managing the onboarding and offboarding process effectively, the urgent nature of this task/process puts pressure on our ability to deliver the SC year ends on time. This role will enable the team in India to concentrate on the day-to-day delivery of SC year ends, including tenant recoverable reconciliations which will be done as part of the year end process.

This would be a full-time role Monday - Friday (37.5 hours) and we have a hybrid working policy in place.

Duties will include:

  • Onboarding a new asset - Work closely with the onboarding manager to establish contact with the previous agents, then manage the communication and collection of the handover information within the agreed timescales of the sale contract.
  • Review and reconcile the handover information and load to Yardi Voyager systems
  • Transition out of an asset - Work closely with the service charge manager to establish contact with the new agents, then manage the communication and providing the handover information within the agreed timescales of the sale contract.
  • Service Charge Manager cash rec reviews.
  • Management of client voids - liaising with the SCA team and then providing the client with void invoices and then managing the chasing and settlement of these void arrears.
  • Management of clearing down of client cash rec items (VAT/Voids)
  • Working with SCM/System accountant to prepare and provide a new process for archiving the properties down on the Yardi Voyager database
  • Supporting to SCM with management of the Microsoft Teams service charge planners
  • Support the client accounting team with the management of Service charge only clients

The successful candidate will have...

  • Numerate and a keen eye for detail.
  • Appreciation of practice in a professional services operation.
  • General accounting experience is required with a full appreciation and ability to undertake detailed reconciliations.
  • Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office Products - Outlook, Excel and Word.
  • Ability to manage a busy workload.
  • Property experience would be ideal although not essential.
