The Candidate has partnered with one of the UK’s largest Insurance conglomerates in their search for a Service Desk Analyst, with a focus on Major Incidents, to join their team; working in either their Manchester or Stoke office 1-day per week.

The team focuses on a mix of problem, change, risk & major incident; but they're ideally looking to grow the team with the addition of someone with solid MI experience. You’d be servicing 1000’s of internal users and would also be involved in stakeholder management across multiple departments including the C-Suite.

Why work here?

+ The team is currently the main area for growth in IT over the next year so opportunities for progression are really strong once you’ve had chance to settle in

+ There’s opportunity to diversify & increase your skillset working on systems used by 1000’s of users focussing on problem, change & major incidents (they don’t need you to have experience in all of these and will take the time to get you up to speed)

+ Big company with small company mentality: means they can focus on developing employees, ensuring their tech is cutting edge & keeping customer experience a priority

+ They’ll fund relevant qualifications & accreditations

This role would suit someone who:

- Would relish the opportunity to work on interesting problems where they can have an impact on future tech choices & ideas

- Wants to feel part of something bigger, have a say, and not be micromanaged

- Enjoys flexibility, trust and autonomy

Salary on offer is up to £40K + £4K P/A on-call allowance + 1.5x pay when on-call (typically ~5 hours per month).

The team work 4-days remote with 1-day in either their Manchester or Stoke office (depending on which is closer to you).
