Service Desk Engineer - Leeds - £28 - 35K

An established client of ours in the Technology sector are looking for a IT Team Leader to join their internal IT department, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for Responsible for providing first class IT helpdesk support to our customers, as well as assisting and leading a variety of internal and client projects.

This is an office based role in their Leeds office.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Identifying and troubleshooting hardware & software issues both remotely and in person
• Working pro-actively with the team to effectively manage multiple open cases;responding within agreed timescales and managing responses effectively.
• Taking ownership of user problems and being proactive when dealing with userissues
• Installing and configuring computer hardware operating systems and applicationsusing automation and ensuring internal documentation is maintained.
• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks by responding toalerts as well as proactively reviewing client systems as directed in order to ensure best service for customers.
• Talking clients through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone to help set up systems or resolve issues.
• Providing administrative support, including procedural documentation and relevant reports.
• Client site visits to support project work and deliver technical resolutions whenrequired.
• Supporting the roll-out of new equipment and applications both internally and for our clients.
• Identifying and suggesting process improvements and new ways of working a well as recommending changes to working practices to the benefit of all
• Interacting with clients in a clear and consistent manner through our PSA tool and recording your time as appropriate.
