As a Service Engineer with our growing Water Treatment company, you'll be paid door to door with a
a maximum of alternate weekend coverage. Your patch will be the South of the country, however the majority of your clients will be inside the M25. Based from home, you'll be offering a good mixture of service, installation and reactionary work.
 
BASIC SALARY: £30,000 - £40,000 plus overtime

LOCATION: Our offices are based in Colchester and Halifax.
 
COMMUTABLE LOCATIONS: You'll be based from home going directly to customer sites in the South, predominantly London. You'll ideally be based in or around the M25 corridor such as Reading, Slough, Watford, High Wycombe, Staines-upon-Thames, Bracknell, Woking, Guildford, Harrow, Wembley, Maidenhead, Camberley, Hayes, Uxbridge
 
JOB DESCRIPTION: Service Engineer  / Water Treatment / Water Hygiene / UV Systems / Reverse Osmosis
 
You'll be visiting our clients' sites providing service, installation and reactionary work on water treatment plants and equipment across the South, with a large proportion of our work based inside the M25.
 
You'll be working on a range of equipment such as water softeners, reverse osmosis units, tanks, UV systems and dosing equipment. In addition, you'll also conduct initial site surveys and provide solutions to treatment plants.
 
As our Service Engineer you'll:
· Execute water system cleaning and disinfections
· Support our sales team technically on client projects
· Carry out basic plumbing work
· Only work on 1-3 sites per day
 
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Service Engineer  / Water Treatment / Water Hygiene / UV Systems / Reverse Osmosis
 
You're already a well experienced Service Engineer from the Water Treatment / Water Hygiene market and are familiar with the type of equipment we work with. You'll have an understanding of chemical dosing too. We don't mind if you're qualified by experience or if you're certified in water treatment.
 
As a minimum you'll be able to carry out plumbing tasks, but it would also be nice for you to have an electrical competency, though this isn't essential.
 
You'll also:
· Be a strong engineering problem solver
· Possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal
· Hold a full UK driving license
