Location: London and Suburbs
Salary: Up to £42k
Position: Field Based, 8am – 5pm (Permanent)

About the Role: Starting Point Recruitment is looking for a dedicated Security Service & Maintenance Engineer. This role involves ensuring top-notch preventative, reactive, and remedial maintenance for a variety of domestic and commercial properties in and around London.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Expertly maintain integrated electronic fire and security systems in compliance with regulations.
  • Perform minor repairs and small works on various properties.
  • Maintain accurate asset logs of on-site equipment.
  • Efficiently manage your daily workload to complete jobs timely.
  • Communicate and report to the office daily.
Knowledge & Experience Required:
  • In-depth understanding of fire and security systems, and British Standards.
  • Relevant qualifications (NSI/LPCB/C&G, etc.).
  • Proficiency in carrying out preventative maintenance to current standards.
  • Experience managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Extensive experience with CCTV/Access Control systems; training in Entrotec or fire alarm systems is a plus.
General Requirements:
  • Background in the construction industry or fire & security systems.
  • Clear criminal record and ability to pass a CRB/DBS check.
  • Full compliance with the security industry's screening process.
