Woking Priory Hospital is set in idyllic countryside and yet is within reach of central London and both regional airports by either car or public transport. The hospital provides residential treatment for up to 30 adults and also has a strong day and outpatient programme which includes a range of therapeutic approaches. Opportunity to work as part of an MDT.

Job Advert Role Description

We are a compassionate and forward-thinking mental health service, providing evidence-based therapeutic support to individuals. We are seeking qualified and experienced Sessional Integrative Psychotherapists and/or CBT Therapists to join our growing team and provide high-quality therapeutic services to clients.

As a Sessional Integrative Psychotherapist and/or CBT Therapist, you will be responsible for delivering one-on-one therapy sessions, providing tailored treatment plans, and maintaining a supportive therapeutic relationship. You will work with a diverse range of clients, addressing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress.

Essential:

  • Accredited with recognised professional body (UKCP/BACP/BABCP/HCPC).
  • Experience of working in acute mental health or substantial experience of working in acute mental health.
  • Specific training and experience in providing both group and individual therapy.
  • Experience working with a diverse range of clients and presenting issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a flexible session schedule.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and confidentiality in therapy.

Desirable:

  • Additional trauma training and clinical experience; training in Mindfulness; training and clinical experience in provision of couples therapy; EMDR.
