Setting Out Engineer

Your new company
You will be joining a forward-looking niche subcontractor in the midlands that focus on Engineering, Utility & Land Surveying in the UK. They have previously worked on projects such as, HS2, Silvertown, British library, major airports and Hinckley Point C. My client work collaboratively to successfully develop innovative solutions to provide Computer aided design (CAD), Geographical Information System (GIS) and Building Information Modelling (BIM). As they are now expanding rapidly, they are now looking for a Setting Out Engineer.

Your new role
As Setting Out Engineer you will be responsible for but not limited to, working with survey methods such as total stations, GNSS and data collectors. Along with survey controls, setting out gridlines, levelling, traversing and other land surveying work. Additionally, resolving any issues that may arise, recording data to the agreed specification and scope. All to maintain client relationships to deliver client expectations.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have a flexible and positive attitude, have excellent planning and organisational skills and be able to learn new software and processes. It is desirable that you are RICS/ICES qualified, have a university degree in survey related field and CSCS card holder.

What you'll get in return
