The Sewing & Upholstery Machinist role:
  • Manufacture prepared kits according to specification
  • Follow product specification and sample provided.
  • Use sewing machine to manufacture component parts.
  • Use hand sewing to finish products.
  • Assemble completed components to make finished products.
  • Above all, delivering a first class service to your customers, where we strive not just to meet but to exceed your customer’s expectations.
What are we looking for in you? Principally:
  • Any existing industrial sewing experience is a plus, but we will provide training if you have just basic sewing experience already, providing you have the right attitude and aptitude.
  • Experience with CNC cutting table would be an advantage but not essential as training would be given.
  • The ability to learn new skills quickly, together with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A team player who interacts well with colleagues.
  • A positive approach to self improvement and development where you are able to review your own performance and service delivery in a culture of continuous improvement.
