Come and work for a world leading airline based out of Glasgow Airport as a structures/sheet metal worker and contribute to the maintenance and repair operations.
Responsibilities:
- Fabricate and repair aircraft structural components using sheet metal
- Interpret engineering drawings and blueprints to perform precise work
- Conduct inspections and assessments of aircraft structures
- Collaborate with a team of technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow maintenance manuals and guidelines for aircraft repair and modification
Requirements:
- HFs, EWIS and FTS certificates required but can assist in gaining them.
- Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker, preferably in aviation or aerospace
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Understanding of aviation regulations and safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and precision in workmanship
