Shipping Coordinator - Peterborough - Up to £20/hr - Inside IR35

This role sits within the Supply Chain team based in Peterborough. You will be a key player in planning, arranging and processing shipments to the company's global customer base.

• Arrange for shipments of products to be despatched to customers based on available product
• Work with carriers and customers to agree on collection schedules
• Send all relevant documentation for the shipments to the necessary contacts
• Prepare, submit and record the export entry for goods sent overseas

• Knowledge of issues, procedures, tools and practices of importing and exporting
• Knowledge of transportation; ability to transport materials and goods to manufacturing facilities and customers

• Knowledge of customer service concepts and techniques; ability to meet or exceed customer needs and expectations and provide excellent service in a direct or indirect manner
• Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision
