Job Title: Shipping Coordinator

Location: Birmingham, B76

Annual Salary: £24,000

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30 am - 5 pm (40 hours)

Key Duties:

  • Allocate work to production facilities and process IP works orders
  • Create Bill of Landing, obtain delivery quotes, and negotiate rates with hauliers
  • Ensure paperwork and shipping documentation are accurate and timely
  • Coordinate with haulage, shipping companies, and dispatch for smooth operations
  • Verify and add freight costs for accurate invoicing
  • Scan and manage documentation per client and customer processes
  • As a Shipping Coordinator you must resolve issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction
  • Maintain organised filing for legal compliance and manage OBS statuses
  • Adhere to AMS policies, maintain 5S standards, and sign off on shipping documents
  • Follow the Company's health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Strong GCSE/A-levels or equivalent
  • Shipping Coordinator must have UK & European shipping experience
  • An understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Good team working skills
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Willing to travel to other sites, including overseas
