We currently have an exciting opportunity for skilled Butchers to join a bespoke butchery and delicatessen near Liphook & Farnham where you will be preparing high-quality produce for customers.

Immediate start available for suitable candidates, equivalent rate £31,590 basic annual salary dependent on experience with 4 weekdays + 1 weekend day shift pattern and this role will be temporary to permanent for the right candidate.

Working across the site you will use your experience in food production and your passion for culinary arts in a customer facing environment. 

Responsibilities: 

  • De-boning, preparing and cutting meat products according to customer specifications.
  • Ensure all meats are handled, weighed and stored correctly to maintain freshness.
  • Operate and maintain butchery equipment and tools.
  • Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed including meat display.
  • Always adhere to food safety standards and regulations.
  • provide excellent customer service at all times.

Experience:

  • Previous experience working as a Butcher is desirable/preferred.
  • Alternatively, general knife skills in a food production/catering environment would be suitable.
  • Knowledge of food production techniques and service.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations and kitchen procedures.
  • understanding of food safety regulations.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interact with customers and colleagues.

This role is open to UK based cadidates only with the right to work in the UK full-time.
