Do you have a passion for customer service and possess a can do attitude? Do you have a good eye for fashion old and new, or knowledge of bric-a-brac and antiques?

If yes, then this could be the position for you, as we are looking for a Shop Manager in our Plympton Shop!

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • All aspects of shop management, including administration and banking, recruitment and management of volunteer staff & all health and safety requirements are adhered to

  • Be able to achieve agreed budgets and targets by maximising sales and controlling direct shop expenses.

  • Recruitment and training of a motivated team of paid staff and Volunteers

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous retail or charity work experience

  • The ability to demonstrate personal flexibility

  • Be able to promote the work of the Hospice

  • Knowledge of Gift Aid

  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English (A-C)

  • Cash handling
