We are currently seeking a full-time Showroom Assistant (Front of House) for our client's wholesale showroom team at our London head office, to start in August 2024.
Main Responsibilities:
Front of House Management
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Booking and confirming meetings, and appointments, organising courier deliveries
- Receiving deliveries, distributing post, staff orders, etc.
- Managing and replenishing office supplies
- Ensuring the highest service and operational standards are being always met, especially in the reception area.
Showroom Support:
- Assisting with press sample requests alongside the showroom manager
- Working with the showroom team to ensure samples are always organised and stored in perfect condition.
- Ensuring the showroom is constantly tidy and in good condition - liaising with contractors for any repairs or callouts.
- Supporting the showroom manager to manage the team of seasonal interns.
Administrative Support:
- Managing all faulty returns from stores
- Supporting the showroom manager with campaign planning, recruitment, health and safety, and any ongoing projects
- Processing delivery and dispatch of samples and parcels while keeping digital records of any moving stock.
- Supporting the showroom manager with out-of-campaign activities such as staff training, press day, and any ongoing projects
Ideal Candidate:
Key Technical Skills:
- Strong planning and organisational skills - previous experience in a showroom environment is preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to interact with all stakeholders successfully and confidently, at all levels.
- Advanced use of Excel and effective use of Word is preferred.

- Highly organised and able to prioritise, plan and manage a demanding and ever-changing workload.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy
- Good team player and comfortable working on their own
- Proactive and problem solver mind-set and approach
- Adept at learning and developing.
- Friendly and approachable manner
