Shuttering Joiner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced shuttering joiner to join our team for an exciting project in Hartlepool. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating formwork structures used in the construction of concrete foundations, walls, beams, and other structural elements. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional to contribute to a high-profile construction project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Constructing and dismantling formwork (shutters) for concrete structures.
• Reading and interpreting construction blueprints and plans.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to a high standard.
• Working closely with other trades on-site to ensure the smooth progression of the project.
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations on-site.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a shuttering joiner on construction sites.
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in carpentry and joinery or a related field.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry tools and materials.
• Valid CSCS card.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
• Punctuality, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
