Our client is a well respected group of companies operating within the Food / FMCG Industry.
As part of the companies continued growth FRS have been enlisted to assist with the recruitment of a experience finance leader to join the business as Site Finance Controller.
This position will be base from one of the companies largest sites based in the North of Leicestershire working closely with both the site General Manager but also Group Finance

This is a really broad and varied Financial Controller role within a rapidly growing and well invested business.
As Financial Controller for one of my clients most high-profile sites you will provide comprehensive support to the site senior management team in assisting them to further grow and develop the local site.
Key to the success of this role will be the provision of accurate and timely management information upon which both the role holder and wider Finance team can act in order to maximise the growth opportunities that exist within the business. Involvement in the development and implementation of a strong and robust reporting system will be a key priority in order to deliver key objectives.

Key Accountabilities

Management of the site Finance team in the delivery of all operations and financial reporting including;
Daily and weekly reporting of yields, labour, stock and site overhead costs
Monthly profit and loss reporting to include overhead costs, engineering costs and consumable costs
Management of the site balance sheet, including all monthly reconciliations and reporting requirements for group finance
Report on capital expenditure spend to ensure that all projects are operating within budget
To provide management information as requested and to develop the management reporting process
Production of monthly operations reporting pack
Creation of budgets and forecasts as required on overhead and capital spend
Provide daily operational support on the management of purchase orders and invoices, including managing the goods received not invoiced (GRNI)
Production of the audit file at year end, to include all reconciliations and any supplementary information required
Support the department in holiday cover in regard to weekly and monthly reporting.

Skills and Experience Required
• Qualified in ACCA/ACA/CIMA or QBE
• Understanding of the FMCG industry, ideally food manufacturing
• The desire to be hands on, and to be seen on the production floor
• Accurate and efficient in reporting
• High level of eye for detail
• Experience and knowledge from working in a manufacturing environment with evidence of variance reporting
• Experience of working with SAP
• Confident, competent, determined and resilient, with the drive to complete tasks
