Site Manager - Caribbean

The Company:

Join a leading construction company in the Caribbean engaged in a variety of projects. Their portfolio spans stunning beachfront properties, luxurious resorts, and modern commercial spaces.

The Position:

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Site Manager to work in the Caribbean. Please note this is an important role and will require someone who is comfortable being on-call and working more than a standard 40hr week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct construction activities at the project site.
• Supervise, inspect, and monitor all construction tasks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify and organize the efficient use of plant, materials, and labor, ensuring that site resources and subcontractors are effectively utilized.
• Ensure construction methods and quality adhere to accepted standards.
• Develop construction programs and schedules using Microsoft Project and similar scheduling software.
• Serve as the central point for site control systems, budgeting, cost control, site diary, quantity takeoff, preparing time-related material schedules, subcontractor valuation, and maintaining and updating the contract program.
• Implement and manage the company's policies for site management, quality assurance, and safety.
• Perform all functions related to your construction profession and any additional duties as directed by the Project Manager or Construction Director.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in construction related field.
• 5+ years’ experience working as a Site Manager in the construction industry.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, techniques, and standards.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
