Site Manager - Residential

Mayfair

£40,000 - £60,000 depending on experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee the construction of residential buildings. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from planning and budgeting to execution and delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project progression.
  • Oversee the construction process, ensuring adherence to building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
  • Manage day-to-day operations on the construction site, including scheduling, inspections, and quality control.
  • Monitor project expenses and track expenditures against the budget, making adjustments as necessary to ensure profitability.
  • Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, challenges, and milestones.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process, implementing effective solutions to keep the project on track.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment, implementing and enforcing safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role, with a successful track record of managing residential construction projects from start to finish.
  • In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as building codes and regulations.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a proactive and solutions-oriented approach to project management.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, as well as MS Office applications.
  • Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction management or a related field.
