Site Manager - Groundworks

Salary - £50,000-£80,0000

Location- Kirkby, North west

My client are one of the leading civil engineering, groundworks and specialist drainage company based in Liverpool and covering the whole North west.

They are a family operated company established in 2012 with large scale projects and have successfully completed numerous construction projects across the region on behalf of both the public and private sector.

About the role

You will need experience in groundworks , roads and sewers as well as a strong leadership style.

Are you an experienced site manager with a passion for leading construction projects to success? Do you thrive in dynamic environments, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards?

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all on-site activities to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Monitor project progress, preparing regular reports for senior management.
  • Resolve any issues or delays that arise during the construction process.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a site manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to health and safety standards.
