Job Title: Site Manager - Commercial Development
Company: My client is based in Hessle, near Hull. Specialising in retail, automotive, healthcare, and industrial projects within the construction industry.

Project Description: The project is a standard shell & core commercial development, specifically a Starbucks build with a car wash component. It involves steel frame construction, cladding installation, and landscaping. The project holds a value just over £2,000,000.
Job Type: Contract (30 weeks with potential for permanent placement)
Salary/Rate:
- Contract: £300 per day
- Permanent: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the construction project in Sunderland, ensuring it meets quality, safety, and timeline standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage and lead on-site teams, including subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- Monitor project progress, budget, and resources, implementing necessary adjustments as required.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Report regularly to senior management on project status, issues, and resolutions.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry, with a focus on commercial projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and regulations.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams and resolve conflicts.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field.
- CSCS card and SMSTS certificate.
