A leading construction company specialising in fast-track commercial retail projects is seeking a skilled Site Manager for a project in Harlow, Essex.

This 18-week programme requires overseeing various subcontractors, including steelworks, cladding, carpentry, and demolition. The Site Manager will be responsible for ensuring the project's smooth operation while upholding high standards of safety and efficiency.

The Site Manager's Role

The appointed Site Manager will lead a team of 10-15 operatives on-site, managing daily operations and ensuring the project stays on track. Key responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, enforcing health and safety regulations, and adhering to project timelines. The Site Manager will work Monday to Friday, with possible weekend work depending on project requirements.

To be eligible for this role, the Site Manager must have the following qualifications and experience:

  • SMSTS certification
  • First Aid certification
  • CSCS card
  • Experience in managing subcontractors in a commercial retail construction setting
  • Temporary works (beneficial but not essential)

The ideal candidate will have a proven history of successfully managing similar projects and possess strong leadership and communication skills.

In Return?

  • Paying £300-£330 per day depending on experience.
