Are you looking for a a new role as the Site Manager?

Have you got experience operating as the Assistant / Site Manager with a national / regional contractor?

Do you want to work for a leading construction organisation in the UK?

The Role:

You will lead and motivate your site team, supervise all direct labour as necessary, coordinate trades and subcontractors to ensure operations are performed efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme.

Duties:

  • Ensure all works are undertaken with due regard to the needs of the local population
  • Manage, supervise and mentor the site team
  • Adopt, maintain and promote cost conscious management
  • Ensure realistic scheme programmes are prepared, reviewed and updated
  • Ensure method statements and risk assessments are prepared, reviewed, briefed and updated
  • Ensure that the project is properly planned, programmed and resourced to achieve safe, profitable and timely delivery
  • Prepare monthly progress project reports, and ensure that method statements, risk assessments and approval documents are in place for all site activities
  • Ensure thorough understanding and adherence to all the contractual requirements
  • Manage subcontractors and materials

Requirements:

  • Strong background of working within the build industry
  • CSCS
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
  • Valid Full UK Driving Licence
  • Experience working on projects that range from £5m - £30m
