Site Supervisor

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced School Site Supervisor to join our team at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Harrogate. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site management and swimming pool maintenance, ensuring our facilities are safe, clean, and well-maintained for our students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the school site, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Perform regular inspections and maintenance of the hydrotherapy pool, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate and supervise cleaning staff and contractors to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Manage site security, including opening and closing the school, and responding to emergencies.
• Conduct routine maintenance and repairs, and liaise with external contractors for larger projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and school policies.
• Support the school’s events and activities by setting up and dismantling equipment as needed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in site supervision and maintenance, preferably in an educational setting.
• Expertise in swimming pool maintenance and knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to respond to emergencies and work outside regular hours when necessary.
