Job Title: Skilled Woodworker

Location: Leicester (LE2)

Remuneration:

- Hourly rate: £27,300-29,250p/hr +O/T + Benefits

- Contract Type: Permanent

- Working Pattern: 8am-4.30pm (Mon-Thurs)/8am-3.30pm (Fri)

Responsibilities:

As a skilled/semi-skilled woodworker, you will be responsible for:

• Operating and maintaining various woodworking tools and equipment such as band saws, table saws, jigs, cutting machines, drills & CNC Router
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and technical drawings to ensure accurate measurements and specifications.
• Crafting and assembling wooden products according to design specifications.
• Finishing and polishing completed products to achieve a professional and visually appealing appearance.
• Collaborating with the design team to provide input and suggestions for improving product functionality and aesthetics.
• Conducting quality control checks to ensure each product meets the company's high standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a skilled/semi-skilled woodworker with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
• Excellent knowledge of woodworking tools and equipment.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
• Good physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with other members of the team.
