Snowflake/Data Engineer - £75k

Avanti Recruitment is partnering with an exciting delivery focused consultancy who specialise in financial technology solutions for the asset management industry. With a decade of experience implementing major platforms across EMEA, we serve asset managers, wealth managers, insurers, and asset servicers seeking to optimise their investment operations.

They are currently looking for a Data/Snowflake Engineer, you will design and implement data solutions at client sites. Projects range from data ingestion to warehouse construction and semantic layer development. You'll work closely with stakeholders to estimate, develop, and test solutions in an agile environment.

Essential Skills:

  • 2+ years developing Snowflake solutions in asset management or financial services
  • Proficiency in data warehousing concepts (Kimball, Inmon, Data Vault)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT processes and large-scale data handling
  • SQL optimization skills
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google)
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities
  • Agile or waterfall project delivery experience

Nice to have:

  • SnowPro Core or Advanced certifications
  • Experience with dbt and Fivetran
  • Knowledge of business intelligence and data self-service concepts
