SOC Engineer - Remote (UK)

Are you an experienced SOC Analyst / Engineer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Join a forward-thinking team in a Microsoft-focused environment, where you will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to cyber threats across Azure cloud systems, networks, and user endpoints.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and investigate security events across Azure cloud systems, user endpoints, networks, and firewalls.
• Utilise SIEM tools to detect and respond to threats, ensuring the organisation’s security posture remains strong.
• Manage and enhance security across Cisco Meraki network infrastructure.
• Analyse, triage, and respond to security incidents, providing remediation and mitigation strategies.
• Collaborate with IT teams to continuously improve security processes and threat detection capabilities.

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience in SOC, cybersecurity, or security engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft security tools (Sentinel, Defender, Azure Security Centre).
• Experience with SIEM, network security, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Knowledge of Cisco Meraki and its security capabilities.
• Familiarity with security monitoring of user endpoints (Windows 10/11), networks, and cloud environments.
• Relevant security certifications (CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP, Microsoft Security Certs) - desirable
