Freelance Social Account Director

Full Time

£275-£325 Inside IR35 (Day rate TBC)

1 month

5 day working week, 1-2 days in office.

Start date ASAP

My client is a Global based marketing agency, who is looking for a Freelance Social Account Director to support them across their existing team.

Responsibilities:

- Develop innovative and creative solutions for client campaigns.

- Build and nurture client relationships by understanding their individual requirements, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations, and comprehending their brand(s) and customer base.

- Maximize revenue opportunities from clients.

- Present to clients and attend client and partner meetings and events.

- Monitor and understand client markets, staying aware of market issues and competitive activity.

- Manage client reviews with senior clients.

- Lead a team to deliver effective performance at all levels.

- Create project briefs, collaborate with the wider team to develop ideas, and present and sell those ideas to clients.

- Develop project plans and specification documents.

- Produce accurate cost estimates, ensuring client approval before proceeding with work.

- Ensure campaigns adhere to agreed client budgets, obtaining client approval for all expenditures, especially unexpected costs.

- Complete billing on time.

- Ensure campaigns are delivered efficiently, meeting exceptional standards, on time and within budget.

- Collaborate with partner agencies when delivering work as part of a broader campaign.

- Work with the Finance team to ensure timely invoice payments.

- Keep up to date with timesheets and expense claims.

- Maintain the overall quality of final deliverables on projects you manage.

Requirements:

- Comprehensive knowledge of social media, social-first strategies, and digital platforms, including the impact of consumer conversations on major brands.

- Extensive experience in account management within a digital and social media environment.

- Proven track record of working with blue-chip organizations and managing an international client base.

- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team effectively, achieving results at all levels.

- Skilled in managing client relationships while delivering projects to the highest standards, on time, and within budget.

- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to analyze and resolve issues quickly and effectively.

- Ability to interact with individuals at all levels with tact, diplomacy, discretion, and maturity.

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.

- Willingness and flexibility to travel internationally once restrictions are lifted.

- Analytical and creative thinker.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

- Marketing or media-related degree or equivalent experience.
