Locum Social Care Occupational Therapist - Adults, Moving & Handling - Full Time/Part Time (£32 - £35)

  • Southend Council is looking to appoint a full or part-time creative and experienced Occupational Therapist to work across the localities of Southend-on-Sea in various community-based settings, including Community Hubs.
  • You will undertake occupational therapy assessments for equipment, adaptations, and manual handling, as well as provide appropriate interventions and recommendations to promote independence.
  • Understanding individuals' strengths, assets, and wishes to maximize their potential for independence is crucial, recognizing that individuals are best placed to know their outcomes, goals, and wellbeing.

What You'll Need

  • A minimum of 2 years post-qualified experience as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Registration with the HCPC.
  • Experience in adult’s adaptations.
  • A valid car driver's license.

What You Need to Do Now

  • All applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
