Social Media Admin

We are seeking a dedicated Social Media Admin for our dynamic charity organisation. The ideal candidate will provide essential administrative assistance, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within our team and with external stakeholders and manage the social media platforms. Working 20 hours a week, the hours are flexible and the role is hybridpaying a of £11.44 per hour.

Social Media Admin Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain records and manage document storage.
  • Respond to communications via email, letters, calls, and social media.
  • Coordinate and support volunteer activities, including expense documentation.
  • Assist with online marketing, website updates, and social media interactions.
  • Support the CEO in preparing documents and reports for Trustees.
  • Collaborate with the Bid Writer on funding applications and evaluation reports.
  • Represent the charity when interacting with key stakeholders and funders.
  • Ensure seamless operations during colleague absences.
  • Schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Manage office supplies and inventory.
  • Generate project reports and assist with event planning and execution.
  • Conduct research and compile data for various projects.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations as needed.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to increase engagement and brand awareness. Create and schedule posts, analyse performance metrics, and adjust tactics as needed.

Social Media Admin Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms.
  • Experience in administrative roles, preferably within a charity or nonprofit organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven experience in social media marketing and content creation.
  • Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
