Position Overview:

Elevation Recruitment are collaborating with a leading retail company in the heart of South Yorkshire. They an experienced social media and paid media manager to devise and execute paid-for digital campaigns. This role will collaborate closely with the marketing team and select agencies to plan media budgets and ensure KPIs are met. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in driving reach and engagement through strategic social media and paid digital media initiatives across a retail portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct the social media and paid-for digital media strategy across the retail portfolio to drive reach and engagement.
  • Lead in developing and implementing comprehensive social media strategies, including an organic content calendar and influencer program, that align with brand goals and channel objectives.
  • Ensure the business is at the forefront of new digital display technologies and formats, utilising dynamic ads, rich media, and high-impact formats.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to develop and build integrated digital campaigns and engaging digital content.
  • Drive idea generation for social campaigns and oversee delivery through internal teams.
  • In conjunction with our logistics business, plan and deliver paid campaigns to drive lead generation and the development of our own lead pipeline.
  • Manage key agency relationships and budgets relating to media buying and social media.
  • Plan and train junior team members, ensuring best practices are maintained.
  • Translate monthly and campaign-specific reporting into tangible actions to improve engagement and share these insights with marketing managers.
  • Ensure data is at the heart of decision-making, leveraging insights to inform content strategy, set objectives, measure, and report success.
  • Maintain the image library and ensure secure document storage.
  • Adhere to procurement protocols and GDPR compliance.
  • Ensure brand compliance, budgetary control, platform security, and password controls.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in social media management and paid digital media campaigns, preferably within the retail sector.
  • Experience using Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube as well as planning and scheduling.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams and managing integrated digital campaigns.
  • Ability to generate innovative ideas for social media campaigns and effectively lead internal teams to execute them.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and translating insights into actionable strategies.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in training and developing junior team members.
  • Excellent communication skills for managing agency relationships and reporting to marketing managers.
