Our client aspires to be known as a passionate and devoted service provider that provides care tailored to each resident's needs, in comfortable surroundings, with considerate staff, that treat each resident with dignity and respect. Together we are searching for a strategic and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to bring a fresh perspective to their online presence.

The Role

We are searching for passionate social media specialist to join the team as Social Media Marketing Manager. An accomplished and innovative individual, with a seasoned background in social media marketing and content creation, is required for the role. As Social Media Marketing Manager you will be immersed in the sector, with a robust understanding of market trends and best practice. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will be responsible for the overall management and delivery of fresh, high-quality content across all social platforms, company websites and care home sites. You will design and implement a cohesive strategy plan that aligns closely with the organisation’s core values, allowing for greater visibility and optimisation of online presence. You will plan and execute social media campaigns, promotions, and advertisements; performing continuous evaluation of the initiatives to ensure they are aligning to the overall strategic goal. There is also the expectation to upskill operational teams to ensure they can independently use social platforms, ensuring posts are regular and relevant. Your work will allow for cross functional cohesion, drive referrals and enquiries, and attract new residents. Previous experience in the health and social care industry is beneficial for the role, but not essential. It is envisaged that this is a full-time permanent role.

Location

This is an on-site position, based out of the head office in Chesterfield. There will also be an expectation to travel to the Ireland office every 6 months.

Essential Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record in social media marketing, management, content creation and digital marketing campaigns (at least 3-5 years’ experience).
  • Experience designing and implementing effective social media strategy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills is critical for the role.
  • Proficient in using social media tools and content creation software, such as, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite etc.
  • Commercial awareness, with a clear understanding of trends and best practice.
  • Strong analytical skills, with ability to utilise analytics tools to optimise campaign performance.

The Candidate

  • Background in independent health and social care would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Ability to solve problems efficiently.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a keen eye for design and graphics.
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in communication to work with a variety of stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
  • Capacity to oversee various assignments and prioritise in a changing setting.
  • Excellent planning and time-management.
  • Strong English grammar and storytelling abilities.

Interview Process

This is a 2-stage face-to-face interview process, both to be held with the CEO and Operations & Delivery Director. The 1st stage will be an opportunity to showcase your portfolio, and 2nd stage will be a general discussion.
