Social Media Strategy Manager - Formula One

Robert Half is working with an agency who is looking for a Social Media Strategy Manager focused on the sporting industry, including formula one. This is a 6 Month Contract.

Social Media Strategy Manager - Formula One - 6 Month Contract - Sports, Formula One - London, Hybrid

Responsibilities & Duties

• Multi-platform strategy, planning and execution across key client channels likely to be the following: TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter
• Coordinating progress of all projects; presenting and implementing strategic marketing recommendations on key client accounts (content, campaigns, paid, boosting)
• Social media content ideation for multiple different client accounts, especially within the Motorsport industry
• Using analytics software (Brandwatch) for social listening, creating regular reports on our client accounts and use learnings to make decisions and improve current strategies

Essential

• 4 years social media experience
• Experience of coordinating and delivering multi-platform social media strategy for sporting clients and rights holders
• Very strong awareness of global and in-market social media trends
• Experience of building and maintaining influencer relationships
• working with multiple accounts simultaneously
• Proven experience with social media analytics platforms
• Excellent understanding of Formula 1 and other global sports properties

• Experience of Formula 1 or Motorsport with content strategy
• Experience of building and maintaining professional relationships with talent and other major stakeholders
• Experience and understanding on the business side of global sports properties (sponsorship, broadcast, OTT etc.)
• Experience in mentoring or coaching others
