We are currently seeking a highly motivational Social Work Lecturer to join our Access to Higher Education (HE) team. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in both Social Work and Education, aimed at delivering high-quality and effective teaching in various key areas of Social Work.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Deliver engaging and effective teaching sessions in Social Work, scheduled for 4 hours every Thursday (12:00 - 2:00 PM and 2:30 - 4:30 PM).
  • Cover essential units including Safeguarding, Prejudice and Discrimination, Equality, Diversity and Anti-Discriminatory Practice, and Disability and Social Inclusion.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and track academic progress.
  • Stay informed about current trends and developments in Social Work and Education to ensure relevant and impactful teaching.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience and sound knowledge in Social Work and Education.
  • Occupational competence in at least one of the programmes being taught.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage teaching schedules and student records.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students and faculty staff.
