Social Worker | Looked after Children | Middlesbrough Council

We are looking for a Social Worker with current Social Work experience to join a busy front door team. The role is based in the Looked after Children service and will be based in the Middlesbrough office, with the possibility of hybrid working.

Duties:

• Working with Children and Families to achieve the desired outcome
• Discharging care orders
• Attending and Participating in Strategy meetings
• Conducting Looked after Children Reviews
• Completing Care Plans
• Child Permanence Reports (CPR)
• Completing Pathway Plans
• Completing Children and Family Assessments
• Multi Agency working with partner agencies

To be considered, you must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in Social Work, Social Work Degree or equivalent) as well as at least 3 years post qualified experience working as a Qualified Social Worker within a similar team.
