  • Experience of working with young people/adults with Learning Disabilities/Autism

This local authority based in the Greater Manchester area is seeking an experienced Social Worker to join the Preparing for Adulthood team.

You will be working with young people currently open to Children's services or college with SEN and Adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Autism with high level of support needs. Undertaking Assessment and Support planning, mental capacity assessments, safeguarding. Requirement to participate in duty rota.

As they place a high priority on a healthy work / life balance, this allows for more focused and effective working patterns as well as happier staff. You will be based in the office 2-3 days a week and will be able to lean on the service for support and have your manager's ear when looking to work from home..
