Software Developer - Preston - .NET Core / C# / SQL React / TypeScript

We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer, for a global production company, who's tech team is based in Preston.
  
You'll be joining an experience tech team as they look to develop brand new, bespoke systems to cater for their worldwide manufacturing sites. You'll need the analytic mindset, business acumen and commercial awareness.
  
Skills Needed:
  • 3+ years experience in .NET / C#
  • SQL database
  • Strong understanding of unit testing (nUnit, Moq, etc.)
  • React experience for Front End would be ideal
  • Visual Studio / VSCode 
  • Git / Azure DevOps for source control & CI/CD
  • Agile / SCRUM
  • QA & Testing experience (the current Developers test each others work before releasing to user testing)  
Desirable skills include Dapper, Jest & Playwright for testing, DevExpress, MySQL DB management, design patterns experience.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain with C# & .NET Core 
  • Design and implement SQL database 
  • Front end development with React / TypeScript 
  • Collaboration with varying teams to define, design and build new systems and features
  • Follow best practices for coding, testing and deployment
  • Code reviews, creation and maintenance of technical documentation 
You'll be joining a £350 million turnover company, who's Preston office is over 100 people and looking to grow by 50% in the next 18 months. The tech team is UK based and looking to further grow to build and support these brand-new systems.
  
Salary is £40-55K DOE. Hybrid working available
