Software Developer

Software Developer required for an international market leader in the design and manufacture of custom pre-press equipment based in Altrincham. The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be based within a commutable distance of their office. International travel is also part of this role.

• Specify and develop software applications for machinery, desktop, and cloud
• Development of software products and automation solutions
• To support the company's products, through the business and at customer site
• Work with suppliers to select cost effective solutions that meet performance requirements
• Provide technical support to all areas of the business
• Display a professional approach by following the company rules as laid out in the employee handbook.

• Degree qualified in a suitable mathematically based discipline
• 2-5 years' experience in software development
• Had significant input in turnkey projects
• Development of dynamic and engaging user interfaces
• Knowledge in control systems, data gathering, analysis and 3D graphing
• Skilled as a full stack developer for cross platform applications
• Effective knowledge of .NET, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, Muuri, Git
• Experience of IoT and Industry4.0 applications
• Use of vision technology and development applications
• Full UK driving license

• Salary- Circa £40,000
• Hours- 8.00 a.m. to 4.20 pm Monday to Thursday, 8.00 a.m. to 3.20 p.m. on Friday
• Company pension contribution of 3%
• 33 days holiday, including bank holidays, (Christmas shut down)
