  • Remote role with occasional site visits (ideal for candidates in North England / South Scotland)
  • Opportunity to contribute to tech solutions geared towards greater food sustainability and security.

KEY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Tangible experience (circa 2+ years - more experienced candidates are also encouraged to apply!) in Software Development in a commercial environment.
  • Key technologies & languages - PHP, Laravel, TypeScript, Angular. Candidates will ideally be strong in at least a couple of these.
  • Ability to work in a full-stack capacity.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

This is a small development team, but one that is responsible for working on software and data platforms that are used by household names across the AgriFood industry, including major retailers, supermarkets and food processors.

These solutions in many cases are used by clients to help them reach metrics in areas such as environmental sustainability, ethics and food security.

A Software Developer is required due to team expansion, somebody who can work across the full stack (although we appreciate you may be front or back end leaning, an ability to 'muck in' where needed across the full-stack will be imperative!) and who already has demonstrable experience (2 years' or more) in a commercial software development environment.

The technology stack mostly revolves around PHP, Laravel, TypeScript and Angular - candidates will ideally be comfortable working with all of these, although if you consider yourself strong in only 1-2 but willing to learn the others, we would definitely still be interested in hearing from you!

For an opportunity to apply your skills in an impactful company in a sector, AgriFood, that affects us all daily then please get in touch to learn more!
