I'm currently working with a fantastic company based in Leicester who are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join their internal development team.

This isn't your average agency role or a project you'll hand off and never see again. It's a chance to work on a long-term, in-house project management system that's central to how the business operates every day. You'll play a key role in shaping, scaling, and improving a platform that's genuinely relied on by the team.

They're ideally looking for someone comfortable working across the stack - with PHP (Laravel or similar), React, and MySQL - and someone who enjoys solving practical problems with smart, clean code.

• Backend development using PHP

• Frontend work with React and modern JavaScript

• Database design and optimization with MySQL

• Collaborating with internal teams to develop useful, usable features

• Improving overall system performance and stability

• Solid experience in PHP, React, and MySQL

• A good understanding of full-stack development

• Comfortable working in a collaborative, product-focused environment

• Someone local (or nearby) - this is a hybrid role, with 2 days per week in their Leicester office

• Salary between £45,000 and £55,000, depending on experience

• Hybrid working (3 days remote, 2 in-office)

• 25 days holiday + bank holidays
