We are searching for a Professional Services Software Implementation Team Lead to manage and drive a team of implementation consultants for a global fleet software business that will provide exceptional development and progression opportunities.

The Role

This is an integral role to the ongoing growth of our client’s business and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering projects whist developing a high-performing services team. You will establish excellent working relationships with clients and oversee the implementation process, ensuring effective and efficient project success, driving continuous improvement initiatives and you will be pivotal in achieving strategic and revenue targets. This role will require travel up to 50% of the time across the UK.

Financial Management

  • Analyse project profitability, revenue, bill rates and utilisation.
  • Forecast revenue and utilisation for UK projects, understanding revenue models, P&L, and cost-to-complete projections.
  • Ensure timely and accurate invoicing and monitor receivables for all project work.

Operational Management, Project Leadership & Consultation

  • Develop and implement project work plans, identify resource and assign individual responsibilities.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operational aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to project scope and objectives.
  • Lead project and product orientation sessions, requirements definition, and fit/gap analysis.
  • Consult with customers on system setup and configuration, prepare and execute test plans.
  • Deliver training and provide go-live preparation and support.
  • Conducting regular status meetings, tracking progress and communication project information effectively.
  • Identify business development and "add-on" sales opportunities.
  • Assist with project scoping, proposal efforts, and promoting value propositions.

The Candidate

Our ideal candidate will be an experienced and dynamic leader who can develop and drive a fast-paced, high-demand project team. You will have experience building a high-performance team, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and developing/achieving strategic goals.

Key Skills:

  • Proven project management and leadership experience; preferably within the fleet software industry.
  • Project leadership, consultation, and customer engagement expertise.
  • Strong financial management and forecasting abilities.
  • Effective communication, presentation, and business development skills.
  • Experience leading a team to manage simultaneous projects and deliver multi-phased software implementations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, with an ability to collaborate and communicate with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
