Software Test Engineer

Software Test Engineer- Southampton - £40k - £45k

Hexwired Recruitment has partnered with a world renowned Electronics manufacturer based in Southampton who are now seeking a Software Test Engineer to help Test and deploy a range of precision Electronic devices.

The company are recognised globally, and are expanding because of a healthy order book. The company are now seeking a Software Test Engineer to run Manual and Automated testing for a range of new and existing products.

This is a Software Test role focusing on Embedded device testing. Due to the nature of the work, this will be a mostly onsite role with occasional remote working.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer science, Maths, Physics or similar
• 2+ years commercial Test experience for non web projects (Desktop, Embedded, Systems etc)
• Good experience working with version control tools
• Experience using C/C++ or Python for building scripts
