Our client is one of the UK's leading electrical and renewable energy suppliers. They have an exciting opportunity for an experienced solar engineer to Join their expanding renewables team to assist in covering the Stoke, Telford and Shrewsbury areas. Also looking for a labourer/apprentice also looking to get into the renewables industry.

Solar Engineer Position Overview

  • Installing Solar panels to domestic and commercial properties (Care homes & Big warehouses)
  • Lifting heavy materials, maintenance and general solar roofing duties
  • Working in a team including electricians and Solar PV Roofers
  • Service and repairs
  • Connecting DC cabling safely

Solar Engineer Position Requirements

  • Previous solar experience
  • Roofing experience
  • DC cabling experience
  • Willingness to travel
  • Full UK driver's license
  • Own tools

Solar Engineer Position Remuneration

  • £26,000 - £30,000 DOE
  • Van plus fuel card
  • 20 days holiday plus 8 BH
  • 40 hour working week
  • Overtime available - Time and a half
  • Training and progression for the right candidates
