Job Title: Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer
Location: Oxfordshire
Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days from home)
Salary: Up to £45,000

Overview:
Join our client's thriving firm and become part of a hugely successful team! This role reports to the Head of Residential Conveyancing and involves assisting in managing the team to a high standard. The successful candidate will be experienced in advising clients on all aspects of the buying, selling, and re-mortgage process, including legal issues, finances, and contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Handle files, both freehold and leasehold, from initial instruction through to completion, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with, title issues are accurately resolved, all searches are carried out and checked, and mortgage conditions are satisfied.
- Conduct title checking.
- Prepare contracts and supporting documents.
- Check official copy documents.
- Liaise with clients, clients’ agents, borrowers, asset managers, buyers’ solicitors, internal departments, and other necessary parties.
- Deal with post-completion issues and ensure post-completion is concluded accurately.
- Use case management systems on a day-to-day basis.
- Handle client billing and ensure all billing is accurate and timely.
- Actively engage in liaising with agents and brokers to create new business relationships and bring new sources of work into the firm.

Skills & Experience:
- Experience with leasehold properties, corporate clients, buy-to-let, and portfolio owners.
- Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines.
- Proactive with commercial and financial awareness.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills at all levels, with a true team ethos.
- Experience managing a team or aspirations to take on a management position.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year PQE with experience in residential conveyancing; or
- An extensive background in residential conveyancing.
