Our client, an award winning, West Midlands based firm of solicitors is seeking a Solicitor to lead their team providing legal services to clients in relation to Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence claims.

The successful candidate will handle a mixed caseload of fast and multi-track personal injury matters on behalf of claimants, managing own cases and supervising other cases within the team.

We are looking for someone with at least 8 years’ experience or PQE of claimant personal injury covering RTA, Employer Liability. Public Liability and Clinical Negligence.

Candidates should have experience of managing a broad unsupervised caseload (which will need to include complex claims) covering RTA, EL, PL (fast track and multi-track) as well as clinical negligence matters from initial instruction to final completion.

In addition to building & maintaining effective client relationships, the successful candidate will need to have excellent technical skills.

The role will require someone who has a proven record of organising their own personal workload and responsibilities; the ability to determine priorities and consistently meet deadlines and financial targets; and to deliver consistently good results for clients.

Part of the role will involve working with the team on business development, supporting marketing initiatives and maintaining relationships with suppliers.
