  • Schedule: 4 long days a week 8am-6pm

  • Rate of pay: £30 p/h umbrella days

A Day in the Life in a triage team:

As a Mental Health Practitioner specialising in young people, you will play a crucial role in delivering NHS community mental health services. Your responsibilities will include:

As a CAMHS practitioner in a telephone triage position, each day brings a mix of routine and unpredictability, with the central aim of assessing and prioritizing the mental health needs of children and adolescents.

Candidates should have CAMHs and or Liaison psychiatry experience where assessments are a primary role. Excellent assessment and communications skills are required. The post covers the geographical areas of Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire London and is most suited to someone who lives in London and is able to drive.

Requirements and qualifications required for this role:

  • Current and valid registration with the NMC.
  • Proven experience within a CAMHS/Telephone Triage experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  • Members of staff should be a driver and have CAMHS experience.
