Career Teachers are seeking a qualified Spanish Teacher (QTS / QTLS), for a secondary school based in Birmingham. This is a full time temporary role, to start September 2024.

You will be working in a vibrant and inclusive school who are committed to fostering academic excellence and holistic development. We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Spanish Teacher to join their staff team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Spanish, possess strong subject knowledge and be committed to nurturing students understanding of the Spanish language and culture.

As a Spanish Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons at key stage 3 and 4 in accordance with the national curriculum. Fostering a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.

Qualifications & Requirements of Spanish Teacher:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Spanish
  • Teaching certificate and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience teaching Spanish at KS3-4.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement
  • Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
  • Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
  • Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
