We are searching for an enthusiastic Spanish Teacher to join one of thriving secondary schools in Plymouth.

The principal duties for the position are listed below are:

• Plan and deliver engaging, clear, and informative Spanish lessons that capture the essence of the language and its culture.
• Help develop and enhance our Spanish curriculum, incorporating contemporary teaching methods and materials.
• Organise and lead cultural events and activities that deepen students' understanding of Spanish-speaking countries.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing targeted feedback and support to ensure academic and personal growth.
• Spearhead extracurricular initiatives such as Spanish clubs or language immersion excursions.

Essential Qualifications for Spanish Teachers:

• Eligibility to work in the UK
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to get a new one
• 2 proven & recent professional references
• You must hold Qualified Teacher Status in the UK.
• Proven track record of teaching Spanish effectively at the secondary level.
• A deep appreciation and knowledge of Spanish culture, with a passion for sharing this with students.
• Ability to employ innovative teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within our school community.
